Smiles and What’s Next?

Well, since Sunday’s breakthrough race, coach Rick and I have changed the spring plans. Because of my strong race and time, and so-far-so-great season of amazing training, 4/4 PR’s this year, marathon experience (I have done 7) and no injuries, we think a shot at the Cdn standard for London 2012 is worth a go. BUT, the hardest part is finding a marathon by Apr 22. We’ll keep you posted on this! I know God has a plan for me…I just have to wait to see what it is!

  1. To God be the glory! You just got in to the Rotterdam Marathon! My prayers for you and pride over how you race for His purposes will continue.

  2. Hi Krista, you don't know me, and I'm not even sure how I found the link to your blog…except to say God led me here.
I ran ATB too. I started at 8.30 with the slow runners. You must've passed me around 16km.
I really enjoyed reading your journery and will go back and read more later.
I'm making the decision whether or not to run my first full marathon after a 36km run this Saturday. I will be running Toronto.
I'm scared. Running does not come easily or naturally to me, but as Phil 4.13 says "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength".
I will pray for you as I do my own marathon preparations. Have a blessed Easter…and if you have time, visit my blog!
