I like this picture because it reminds me of the days I used to play hockey with the boys (I was the first non-goalie to play highschool hockey in Lambton county! Good thing the coach, Mr. Tremblay put me as centre with two big guys on each wing!). Even as a kid (I started hockey at age 4), I remember some boys who did NOT want a girl to beat them, at anything, let alone what used to be boy’s game!
Well, keep it up, guys! I love the challenge as we push to run our best.
What a super race. I think the best part was the real, cooked oatmeal after the race. You just can’t beat that! With my job as a Registered Dietitian, I recommend that for breakfast to soooo many people. It helps decrease cholesterol, regulate blood sugars, and make you feel full, longer. Add some peanut butter (and of course, brown sugar) to it with a glass of milk and a piece of fruit = great!
